(currently playing "stars are blind" by paris hilton. just so you know)

20. The Runners Four - Deerhoof
these are, of course, the most played tracks added 2006, as unfair a computation as they come but, hey, i'm lazy. those poor albums released later didn't quite make it. sorry, Joanna Newsom. after typing all this i realized there is a 'year' tag. boring. running that count, of course, got rid of all the old stuff, and added (in that order) Cat Power's "The Greatest", Beck's "Guerolito", Sufjan Steven's "The Avalanche", The Yeah Yeah Yeah's "Show Your Bones", and Be Your Own Pet's "Be Your Own Pet".
and i'm too lazy to remember clearly what i bought on cd, and i never kept accurate count of how many times i played each. guess i'm not anal retentive after all. but i do love Matmos' "The Rose Has Teeth in the Mouth of a Beast", The Fiery Furnaces' "Bitter Tea", and The Decemberists' "The Crane Wife".
enough already. this was supposed to be a two-minute effort. but that don't mean i don't love all of you. feliz navidad.
P.s.Oh, and speaking of The Test Icicles, last week i stumbled on Boa Vs. Python, the movie, whilst perusing through my seven hundred DirecTV channlels. and, ohmyg-d THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER and you all HAVE TO GO SEE IT RIGHT NOW. you can thank me later.
